Mix Up is a story about two young couples living in Hyderabad. These couples have differences between their respective partners due to contrasting personalities. These differences lead to daily challenges in their relationship.
Abhi (played by Kamal Kamaraju) and Nikki (played by Akshara Gowda Bikki) are young couple who are married for 6 months. Abhi is gentle, easy going and loyal to his wife. Abhi’s wife Nikki is more adventurous and passionate with wild thoughts in bed.
The second couple Sahu (played by Aadarsh Balakrishna) and Mythili (played by Pooja Jhaveri) who are married for past 7 months have a strained relationship. Mythili is a normal girl who wishes to seek attention and care from her husband Sahu. But Sahu neglects her and keeps on shouting at most of her acts. On the other hand, Sahu rules out emotional connection and prioritize only physical intimacy with Mythili.
These two couple visit a therapist separately for counselling sessions. Upon the advise of the therapist, these two couple take a break from their daily lives. To reconnect with their partners and find out the lost love and bonding, they plan a trip to Goa separately. Their lives take unexpect turn when the couple meets the opposite partner at a resort party. The rest of the story is how these couples get attracted to the opposite partners.
Both Kamal Kamaraju and Pooja Jhaveri excelled in their characters. They have portrayed emotional scenes with ease. Their emotional scenes will connect with the audience due to beautiful songs which have meaningful lyrics. As usual Aadarsh Balakrishna delivered his performance with versatility and negative shades. Akshara Gowda Bikki portrayed a glamorous bold role and looked stunning on screen.
